Educational Qualifications:
Specialists -> Post Graduate degree / Diploma in the concerned specialty. 1 & Half Years experience for Degree Holder and 2 & Half Years for Diploma Holder in the concerned Specialty after PG.
GDMOs -> MBBS with Internship.
Suitable and willing candidates may walk in for Interview to any of the place of Interview of their choice on dates given against the location of Walk-in-Interview (Check out official notice) along with original & photocopies of all relevant documents (like Graduate & Post Graduate Degree, age proof and experience certificate etc.) and application in plain paper superscripting the name of the post applied for and five passport size recent photographs.

Educational Qualification: Matriculation or 10th class pass from a recognized Board/ University.

Sports Qualification:
(1 )Sportsperson who have represented a State or the country in the National or International competition in any of the games/sports in above list. (OR)
(2) Sportsperson who have represented their University in the Inter University Tournaments conducted by the Inter-University Sports Board in any of the sports/games in above list. (OR)
(3) Sportspersons of merit who have represented State Schools Team in National Sports/Games for Schools conducted by the All India School Games Federation in any of the games/sports in above list. (OR)
(4) Sportsperson who have been awarded National Awards in Physical Efficiency under National Physical Efficiency Drive.

Physical Standards:
(1) Height - For Males : 170 Cms, For Females : 157 Cms
(2) Chest - For Males only : 80 Cms (Unexpanded), Min expansion 5 Cms
(3) Weight - For Males and Females. Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.

Selection Process: All eligible candidates whose application form is found to be in order will be issued admit card/call letter to appear in the recruitment process i.e. trial. Candidates will have to undergo the following process of recruitment:-
(a) Height Bar/Test
(b) Identity check
(c) Checking of Testimonials/documents
(d) Trial in respective sports discipline as per QR attached
(e) Medical Examination.

Three recent passport size photographs should be attached to the application. One each photograph to be affixed on the application form and admit card and third one to be kept in record. Two self-addressed envelopes of size of 25 x 12 cms with postal stamp worth Rs. 40/- each should also be attached with the application form. The envelope containing application must be super scribed in bold letters as "APPLICATION FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF ASSISTANT COMMANDANT (WORKS) or ASSISTANT COMMANDANT (ELECTRICAL) IN BSF ENGG SET UP 2016-17".
