Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL), Mangalore invites applications from Diploma holders for engagement of Technician Apprentice as per the Apprentices Act, 1961 / Apprentices Amendment Act, 1973. The last date of receipt of application is 9th February 2017.

Qualification and Eligibility:
(1) Engineering Discipline - Diploma in Engineering in the respective discipline (65% for General, 40% for SC/ST/OBC).
(2) Commercial Practice - Diploma in Commercial Practice (65% for General, 40% for SC/ST/OBC).
(3) Diploma holders who have passed the qualifying examination in the year 2014, 2015 and 2016 from Polytechnic of Karnataka only need to apply.
(4) Candidates who have been engaged previously as apprentice/are undergoing apprenticeship training at MRPL or elsewhere under the Apprentices Act, 1961 are not eligible to apply
(5) Candidates who have got more than one year of work experience are not eligible to apply.

Selection Process: Written Test

How to Apply: The application in the prescribe format may be duly filled and send along with self attested copy of documents in respect of date of birth, matriculation, Diploma certificate (including semester wise mark sheets) and caste certificate, if applicable to Sr. Manager(HR), Recruitment Section, MRPL, Mangalore by ordinary post. Educational Qualification:
Junior Assistant-B (Chemical) -> B.Sc. Degree (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) / 3 years Diploma in Chemical / Petrochemical Engineering with minimum 40% marks in aggregate.
Junior Chemist -> B.Sc. Degree (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) with minimum 40% marks in aggregate.
Assistant (Sales) -> Graduate Degree in Science/ Commerce/ BBM/ BBA/ BCA with minimum 40% marks in aggregate.
Trainee Assistant (Hindi) ->  Graduate degree with Hindi/English as a compulsory or elective /optional subject. (OR) Graduate degree in any discipline in Hindi medium and English as a subject. (OR) Graduate degree in any discipline (except graduate degree in Engineering) with Hindi Praveen/Ratna/Visharad degree course in Hindi from Voluntary Hindi Institute recognized by Government of India (candidates possessing PG degrees like MBA,MCA,MSW, M.TECH need not apply).
Assistant -> 03 years BA/ BSc./ B.Com/ BBA/ BBM/ BCA degree with minimum 40% marks in aggregate. Knowledge of computer is essential and shall be proficient in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel & MS PowerPoint). Candidates with Certificate in English Type writing- Senior Grade shall be given preference.

Selection Process: The Selection process shall consist of Written Test followed by document verification. The candidates who are successful in written test as per the criteria of MRPL shall only be considered for document verification.

Educational Qualifications:

Selection Process
(a) E1 Grade -> Written Test and Personal Interview.
(b) E2 Grade -> Personal interview.
